I Had made up my mind that i was not going to go to Mexico this year!! Even though i kept saying I was not going I felt like God was calling me to go!! by the time it was only about a week before everyone was leaving for mexico, I was again asked by a a couple from my parents church if i still would like to go. i told them that there was no way I would get off of work now. I prayed!! I asked God that if he wanted me to go that he needed to open the doors for me and help me find someone to fill a weeks worth of shifts. Funny thing was, the very first person i called took every, I mean every single shift. As plus i got to take a weeks worth of shifts for her so she could go on vacation!! God is so amazing!! As we got closer to mexico, I realized that we were not going to the same base as we have in the past. I was not too happy. I was so excited to go back to the ame place and see people i knew. When we got to the camp, i noticed it was just plaine out disgusting. I wanted to go home, and I found out we were going to the same place every single day. I learned something from this. I learned that being with the same children for 5 days drew me so much closer to them, I got to know them more. I built more of a relationship with them!! It had to be the best year yet. For another plus the people who i wanted to see ended up tagging along with us at this camp as well!!! Now i know why God led me there this year, and so Glad I followd his calling!!
